At a time when we constantly have our cell phones within arm’s reach upwards of 24 hours a day, it’s so very rare to find a person who doesn't even own a cell phone.
Dr. David Suzuki is just such a person.
As such, when I sat with him a little while back, my first question surrounded why he doesn’t own a cell phone.
His answer was very telling. He noted that he is scared we’re losing our human connection at a time when we need it the very most.

What David reminded me of during this part of our conversation is how important it is to take the power back (at least every now and then) when it comes to technology.
In interviews with roughly 3,000 Super-Achievers, I’ve discovered the vast majority of them know how to take the power back and rarely try to juggle technology and a live person standing / sitting in front of them, and instead focus on their phone when they are only with their phone (i.e. technology in any form) and focus on people when they are with people.
My question is, in what ways are you taking the power back in your life?
