What I learned from 100 Days of Writing on LinkedIn: Five Key Insights

I have finally finished it!

I have now completed my #100 days of writing challenge on LinkedIn with this hundredth post.

I wrote about lessons learned at the midpoint of the challenge.

As a recap.

Lesson #1

A hundred days seem long! For most, a 30-day challenge would be easier. So I'm going to start a 30-day challenge tomorrow, the first day of the new year. Details to follow.

Lesson #2

Maintaining a consistent and regular posting schedule really does increase the reach and engagement of posts on LinkedIn.

It gave me pause for thought.

In my role as a social media and marketing communications professional, I have the opportunity to teach others how to utilize these platforms more effectively and efficiently. I frequently post tips and resources on LinkedIn and am grateful when they are received positively.

But what's interesting to me is that what gets the most engagement is not about social media, but something more fundamental that we all share. The stories we tell connect us deeply as humans.

In 2023, make it a new year's resolution to keep a close eye on your LinkedIn analytics and the type of content that resonates with your readers.

Then do more of this. Really, it's not that complicated.
