What I know now...!
Looking Back: To be older is to be able to look back at your life and recognize the lessons that made you the person you are today.
Regrets: There are no regrets because if not for certain decisions in your life, you would be the person you are today.
Purpose: To realize that the reason for your existence is greater than yourself. It is to serve humanity, to inspire and leave a legacy where one person/or many people's lives are better because of your contribution.
Work: Find your passion and build a work ethic around it that is unshakable. Understanding that you may not be the most talented or the best in any particular area, but find your strength and resilience to dominate your profession. (Hard work trumps Talent) .. and never settle for less, settle to be the best ever..!
Find your Circle: Surround yourself with like-minded people, those who positively influence your life. We are the average of 5 people we spend most time with.
Finance: Wealth alone cannot bring happiness but lets not discount the importance of money. Don't have negative outlook on the evils of wealth, instead focus on the amount of good and influence you can make by having an abundance of riches. Imagine the number of people you can help, the amount of mouths you can feed.
Focus: 'Where focus goes, energy flows.' Make sure you focus on what is important to you and choose to look at the positivity in any situation.
Family: It would be great to grow older and share life with a few people you've known for most of your life. For me, there's nothing more scary than to be old and alone.
Health: Your body is your greatest assets. I plan to run a marathon when I am 102.
Adventure: Find adventure in every side street, every corner of this planet and everyone home you have been invited into. To travel is to truly live. Take pictures and cherish the experiences. For me, exploration has been one of my greatest teachers.
Spirituality: There is something bigger than us pulling the strings in the universe. We are guided by a set of invisible laws which we need to respect. Turn to spirituality when you need strength because there is a greater force that governs our existence.
Gratitude: Find something to be thankful for everyday. If you aren't happy today, it doesn't matter whatever you achieve in life, you will never be satisfied.
Pain: Understand that there can never be pleasure without pain, as much as there can never be success without failure. Make friends with pain and understand its role in your life as a teacher and guide.
Priorities: To gain the wisdom that you need to focus your time on what is most important to you. Don't sweat on the little things.
Time: The most precious commodity we will ever have. Don't wait until you are too old to live. Make every moment magical..!
Winning: I am obsessed with winning. I know that you are likely to fail much more than you succeed but always approach every obstacle like you own it.
Hate: I refuse to define the term and it has no place in my life.
To conclude: 'Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.' Gandhi
