What I Do

One of the enduring truths of humanity is at some point very early on in meeting someone, they will ask you: What do you do?

Some people are shouldering the staggering workload of stay at home parent, or full time parent with a career. Their are doctors, lawyers, recruiters, programmers, and a zillion other professions that occupy people's time. Some of those things are their passion as well as their income. For others it's just what they are good at or fell into.

For me the answer is revealing as it almost always reveals what they care about. So if you ask me what I do, one of the more important ones is raise money for my favorite charity, and help other people in their charitable efforts as well.
