What I can offer as a Digital Marketer
As an MIS student attending Western Washington University, I was excited to enroll in the Digital Marketing summer course taught by Professor Mark Staton. It certainly broadened my knowledge about digital technologies and web analytics. Thanks to Mark, I have a newfound interest and deep curiosity towards digital analytics.
Upon graduation in spring of 2020, I will be skilled in a broad range of applications and technologies for gathering, storing, analyzing, visualizing, and providing access to data to help businesses make better decisions. I will be skilled in SQL, MySQL, tableau, database development, UI design, data mining, project management, and predictive analytics. In addition, I am a well-spoken and effective communicator, comfortable with being uncomfortable, and confident to take on any task put in front of me.
For the past 6 weeks, I have been expanding my knowledge and learning about digital marketing and digital technologies. As an MIS student, I found what we learned in this class to be very useful and valuable towards my field of study. It opened my eyes to a new set of jobs that I am now highly interested in, specifically digital analytics. Here are some of the topics we covered this summer where I have discussed the digital concepts in more detail …

I look forward to continue building and expanding my level of knowledge. Upon graduation next year, I will continue to learn, improve, and get better every day moving forward. As a digital marketer, what I can offer goes far beyond what I once thought was out of reach. With proper knowledge about digital technologies and how to use them efficiently, and a background in predictive business analytics and information systems, I believe I will be an impactful and valuable asset to your company.
I am excited for my senior year of college to begin and even more excited to graduate – what once felt so far away is now within reach. College has been an invaluable experience to say the least, learning from my mistakes, making connections with professors, learning how to efficiently manage my time, and all around growing as a person, all while somehow maintaining a social life. If you are looking for a Digital Analyst with a lively passion for learning, effective communication and leadership skills, and a penchant to achieve excellence, you know where to find me, I’d love the opportunity to sit down and talk.
