What Have I Learned This Quarter?
The digital marketing course at Western Washington University has been by far my most favorite class. in this class, I learned many valuable skills talked to many successful people in the business, and had very interesting discussions in the class this quarter. I have gained knowledge in many topics but my favorite topics we talked about were:
NFT/ metaverse:
We talked about how NFT's and the metaverse are going to be the future of digital marketing and how we should be paying attention to this because if it succeeds it will be huge for marketers to jump into.
Ab testing:
We talked about what AB testing is and how it works for marketers to help determine what ad they should run. What edits they should make to the ads by testing them against each other and seeing which one performs better.

Digital Activism:
We talked about how digital activism can be used and how we as digital marketers can use our skills to help advocate for causes that we care about. part of our assignment was to find a cause we cared about and share about how digital activism could help them and how they operate under a not-for-profit.
Paid Social Media:
We talked about how paid social works and what makes it work. Digital marketers use paid social by using influencers or CPC and there do these promotions on social media like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Paid social can be a very successful way to promote your business or company especially when it is paired with organic social media.

My most popular post this quarter would be my article about ab testing and CRO I had 11 total views on the post. Most views came from my fellow peers at WWU but I had a few views according to linked in analytics from business strategists, salespeople, facilities managers, musicians, and our very own professor. AB testing was my personal 2nd faviorat6e blog so it was cool to see that it performed the best.
