What I am thankful for

Thanksgiving

This week as we celebrate Thanksgiving, I revisited my list of thanks. Truly, let me share with you my reflections about what I am thankful for:

?In general at my age, I am feeling pretty healthy.

?My wife gave me a kiss and told me she loved me. We just celebrated 39 years of marriage.

?Both of my children have great jobs and doing well.

?I am a citizen of a great nation and I get to vote every year on how to make it better.

?A good friend called me and wants to go out to lunch. (I have a lot of friends.)

?My home is safe, warm and paid for. We are blessed to live in a great neighborhood along with having beautiful California weather.

?I got a phone call from a former client of mine asking me to manage a new consulting project.

?I ate breakfast, lunch and will have dinner later. (Many won’t get to eat meals today.)

?I have a huge collection of wine bottles of wonderful California Zinfandel, or I could choose to drink all I can hold.

?I am wearing clean pressed clothes today, and tomorrow I will wear something different.

?I am working from my own home office. President Trump works from the White House, where I work home from the Brown House.

I do realize how rich I really am! I am truly thankful to all things that I have. 

Today is Thanksgiving Day ---My friend, I want to thank you for your friendship. May best wishes to you and your family. I do hope to see you soon.
