"What the HELL do I write about today?"

"What the HELL do I write about today?"

Ever hear yourself saying things like:

  • "I wish I had time to write a LinkedIn post"
  • "What the hell do I write about?"
  • "No one is going to CARE what I say!"

Or perhaps you're sat there, looking at the 'successful' businesses and people on LinkedIn, and wondering how they manage to get 400 comments in 34 minutes, when your post is sat there with 18 views since last Friday?

Good news!

You're not alone.

Thousands of businesses, consultants, and individuals are in the same position.

I've got MORE good news!

I'm here to help you change all that.

Let me tell you my story... and you'll understand why I'm here.

I set out many years ago to study software engineering (web development wasn't even a thing then). Then the dotcom bubble burst. So, I tried selling kitchens (failed, because I can't lie, as my wife will attest to!). Then I went into the fascinating world of contact centres... where I met my now wife, the reason I didn't stay in contact centres! I left, and went into discount retail, and stayed there for 15 years in various leadership roles.... whilst serving 10 of those as a Special Constable (Volunteer) in Durham Police Force.

And most recently, I left all that behind to join an AI SaaS startup - MOJO CX , thanks to Jimmy Hosang and Sean Northam , and we had a whale of a time together.

I joined them not even knowing what 'B2B' meant.

But I had an EXTREMELY unique skillset.

I was bloody good at opening doors. I had learned how people think in some of the hardest environments. Skills I'd honed in the real world became transferrable.

What made me extra dangerous, was I had no formal 'SaaS Sales Training, and no marketing background.

I'm not limited by conventional thoughts, or teaching. I taught myself. I broke the systems. Broke the rules, and reaped the rewards for being 'DIFFERENT'.

I learned how to use video-based content to create relationships at pace, and access the senior leadership team of enterprise businesses, and fill our sales funnel with opportunities.

Then I figured out how to combine state of the art technology, tools, and my own experience to make efficient workflows to do that at pace, and scale.

I drove over 200 opportunities in two and a half years, at a potential value in excess of £20m ARR.

In February of this year, I decided to launch Javelin Video Content Management and help other businesses achieve the same level of brand authority and expertise, and we haven't looked back since.

Guess what? The same process works for me now too. No website, no paid media, no SEO. All intentional. And yet I have over 60 leads active inside 3 months.

Most recently, I joined IdeazXchange as Chief Marketing Officer as well.

Plus, I've got a 5 year old son at home (going on 15), and his baby brother is due in August.

You could say, I've got a lot going on.... ??

SO.

If you want to know how to create LinkedIn content for you or or your business, that doesn't SUCK, and creates relationships that convert, you're in the right place.

Subscribe for the next episode next week, where I'm going to walk you through the importance of 'starting' versus 'perfection', and how you can use chatGPT to help you get off the mark!

If you know anyone who'd enjoy the newsletter, please tag them, send them the link, or let me know, and I'll nudge them myself if needs be... But this newsletter is for you.

No selling, no pitching, and no bullshit.

That's how I network, it's how I run the business, and it's how we all get better together.

Thanks for joining me for the first edition... hope to see you again soon!
