What the Heck is Virtual Brand Photography?!

I have this question asked all the time so thought I'd answer it here and explain all in this article! I've packed it with visuals as after all, pictures tell a thousand words. It's a great way to see just what is possible too and how much magic you can create with this experience.

Virtual photography is a fantastic way to capture your brand images. Through an incredible app, I am able to take control of the camera on your smart phone and take pictures on my MacBook. I'm sat at home whilst you are in your preferred location, usually your home. I know it sounds bonkers but it is brilliant in so many ways:

• It's a quick, easy and fun way to create professional brand images with less preparation than an in person shoot
• At entry level pricing its a fantastic taster to having a brand photography experience or top up your bank of brand images
• You can ditch the selfies and stock images and go pro!
• If you are camera shy it's a fabulous way to build confidence and create images of you, you love. You don't even know you're having your picture taken and most of the time we are laughing!
• Being in the comfort of your own home helps you relax which shows in your photos. It's also very easy to get natural images when you don't know your picture is being taken!
• In the session you have time for outfit and location changes within your home, so you can capture different elements of you and your brand stories
• Finally, having a virtual brand shoot makes great content. The posts of my clients always have great engagement as people are intrigued to learn more about how you achieved your amazing photos, especially with me, often miles away from your location!

How Does it Work?!

For Virtual Brand Photography, I follow the same approach to in person experiences to create your brand images. The Signature Triple C Method is Connect, Capture and Captivate. Here I'll take you through these 3 simple steps, starting with the planning pre shoot phase which is all about connection.

Connect - Pre Shoot

First step is to complete your brand work book where you will consider your brand identity key words (core values), brand colours and stories. It's where it's important to take time thinking about the outcomes you want, where you want to use the images, how you want to be seen and the ideal clients you want to attract. It's all about connecting with all that 's important to you and your business.

The design session is where we connect all the dots and bring your brand stories to life. We look at each story and decide the best location, outfits and props to represent this. It's where there are often those lightbulb moments where you can see how it's going to take shape.

The final part of the planning stage is getting your photo shoot spaces, outfits and props ready. It's great to open all blinds to let the light flood in and fully charge your phone. You will receive a check list of all the things to prep to make it easy and fun!

Capture - Brand Shoot

This is the really fun part where we'll honestly spend most of our time laughing! First we connect through zoom to get you in the mood and chat through anything that you want to clarify. We then sync through the virtual photography app where you share your personal ID and your phone connects with my Macbook. Then, we're ready to get started!

I'll guide you through, making sure the camera is in the best place to capture you. We'll talk, play with different positions and go with the flow in each location, making the best of the light and features of the room. As you can imagine every shoot is unique which is amazing and why the images are so naturally you.

These pictures say it all! It really is about having fun with it and forgetting the camera is there. I'll help you laugh along the way and make it a pleasurable experience. One to remember for all the right reasons!

Captivate - Post Shoot

After your brand shoot I will professionally edit your images for you to view in your own personal gallery

Within your gallery you can select your favourites and download 20 of your choice. You can of course purchase more or earn extra images as a gift through referrals.

With your digital downloads you can now share and excite your audience. Whether that's through the brand images themselves, creating carousels or show reels from them, you can captivate your audience. You will have professional images that give you the confidence to show up as you, everyday.
