BlueFloat Energy unveils proposal for floating project off Australia's coast
BlueFloat Energy has announced plans for a new floating offshore wind project off the coast of Australia. The wind farm is called the Eastern Rise Offshore Wind Project and is set to be delivered over a development and construction period of seven years. The company is targeting an installed capacity of 1.725 GW.?

Latest News: DEME and Jan De Nul to build artificial energy island
The Belgian consortium TM EDISON, including DEME Group and Jan De Nul Group , has won the tender for the construction of what is poised to be the world’s first artificial energy island.
The construction of the foundations of the Princess Elisabeth Island will begin in early 2024 and will last 2.5 years. After that, the installation of the high-voltage infrastructure is scheduled to start. The latter will be necessary for bringing the electricity from Belgium’s future offshore wind zone to shore. The island is also designed to connect various hubs and countries together. For instance, Belgium wants to build additional joint interconnections with Great Britain and Denmark.

Latest News: Esvagt & Crowley JV chooses HAV Design for US windfarm SOV
Crowley and ESVAGT A/S ’s US joint venture CREST has chosen HAV Design to develop a newbuild service operation vessel (SOV) destined for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project. The contract marks a US breakthrough for HAV Design AS , which becomes the first European ship designer to develop an SOV for the US market.
