What Has God Done For Me?

Where do I start in this long list of things that God has done for me? Let goes all the way back to when I was only 4 years old living in Kansas City, KS at the time. I was overcome with fumes from the tailpipe of a car that was in the basement. I just so happened to be standing behind that car. I was rushed to the hospital on a helicopter. Doctors did not think I was going to make it BUT GOD!!!

Let's fast-forward to when I was about 11 and playing cops and robbers outside with friends from the neighborhood when I was hit by a car. I woke up on the concrete to a horn blowing because the lady was too nervous and scared to get out and check on me. I went to pull my bike from under the front bumper but realize my ankle was hurt (not broken). Went to he hospital and it was just a sprain BUT GOD!!! Just a few scratches nothing else wrong.

Later that same year actually in the same area where I was hit by the car my mom was trying to cover my younger brother's eyes from the sun and we went right into a huge canal. BUT GOD!!! We did not flip over or crash. God had his hands on the steering wheel and guided us safely down where the car came to rest. No injuries.

Let us jump up to 2005 in Iraq on a rooftop watching over the city during a patrol. This particular day was no different because it was always 110 degrees or more. The tar on the roof would be like sticky Laffy Taffy because of the heat. I was watching the road making sure no one was stopping to place IED's (improvised explosive devices) to try and take out the overpass. We went to switch positions so I could get a break and as soon as I sat down to open my magazine. POW gunshot hits the guy that just took my place watching the overpass. BUT GOD!!! Now some say I am lucky but I don't believe in luck but I do believe in God.

Iraq in itself I could probably write a book on the different times God has protected me from situations. There are more stories that I will share from my 41 years on this Earth. There are many of them as I sit and think about all the good that God has done for me. He continues to bless my family and I. I could not have done any of this on my own. This is why I post positive daily topics about God to get people to think about their many different situations that God has helped them out of.

The end is not written in my life yet. Where I am now with Christ this is actually the beginning of something beautiful. I can see a glimpse of what is to come with my family and its great. I am here to witness the goodness of God. When you make out of a situation, or in a situation, or coming out of a situation. Know that God has done that to teach you something. You have to pray to figure out what that something is.
