Why is “no” such a challenging word to say?

Boundaries are important for mental wellness and help prevent us from becoming stretched too thin in our professional lives.

Many people believe that certain things are necessary to grow their businesses. The idea of having boundaries may not even occur to them!

But when we say “yes” to the things we don’t want to do, we leave less space or time for what we want to do—and it robs us of our energy, passion, and enthusiasm.

A hard no for me is dancing in front of my camera for an Instagram Reel. Don't get me wrong. Many people are amazing at it. But it's not my way of communicating with you. So, I have no intention of wiggling my hips while pointing because Instagram says it's great for the algorithm.?

Having a hard “no” doesn’t limit your ability to grow your business. It enhances it. When you recognize and honor your hard “no”, you get to choose alternatives that bring you satisfaction and joy.

If you don’t enjoy doing Facebook Lives, maybe you would love to spend time in your LinkedIn community and build relationships that way instead.

If you aren’t comfortable selling high-ticket items, you can work on creating incredible upsells to lower-ticket offers.
