What Happens if You Run Your Engine in a Closed Garage? Think of Our Planet as a Closed Garage!

"Our Planet is a closed garage and yet we abuse the very ecosystem that supports human life by driving our cars everyday in the very same closed garage."

We all know the consequences of leaving the engine running in a closed garage. Driving vehicles that use fossil fuels is destructive to the very ecosystem that supports human life. Major cities in the U.S. suffer from SMOG like Los Angeles and Denver other cities around the world people must wear masks. Climate change is a major sign that things aren’t going well.

Every day that we continue driving fossil fuel cars around the planet we are killing ourselves the same way we would by closing the garage door and leaving the engine running. The difference is that it will take longer to do the job. (I won’t go into the math of it here.) Our ceiling is roughly 60 miles multiplied by the circumference of the Earth. See Wikipedia on Exhaust Gasses. The size of the planet and the fact that some of the deadly gases emitted from our vehicles is recycled and made into oxygen from the natural order of things (nature). What happens when we destroy these very plants, trees and things that can keep us healthy? We see a reduction in Earth’s ability to continue its recycling process. Rain forests are being cut down and burned as well as land being cleared to make way for progress. Not just Brazil but globally.

Today we are seeing the results of this blatant disregard. With billions of cars, trucks, trains.....well just about anything that burns fossil fuels is overwhelming the ecosystem and it is difficult for mother nature to keep up. Our environment has reached a saturation point and we are beginning to see the damage being done. If this continues it will lead to catastrophic failures in the systems that protect us from the harshness of space.

Why does it continue? For corporate profit, of course. I'm not against car manufacturers, or oil companies or any other company that is polluting our environment. What I am against is the disregard and the publicity that tries to convince us that it is a natural occurrence of things. That the glaciers are supposed to melt away and the oceans are supposed to rise because of the melting. Once we know and understand what is detrimental to our survival we should be taking action to make immediate changes. The Union for Concerned Scientists has a good article HERE. Want to HELP? Visit there page here. Electric cars are a start and solar power is another. Can you think of more ways we can become more responsible to keep Starship Earth green and healthy for humanity's sake?

Nikola Tesla said it over a hundred years ago that we would destroy the planet by burning fossil fuels in our cars. Nikola Tesla was also the man that gave us AC electricity not Thomas Edison. He was also the man that wanted to give us free electricity. But the powers that be would not allow this to happen because it would put them out of business. Besides they couldn't figure out how to (make money) meter free electricity. He was also the first man to build a boat and demonstrate wireless remote control. Yet in American schools we still teach that Thomas Edison gave us electricity. A conspiracy to discredit Nikola Tesla took place in those days.

I am reminded daily that the things we do today will affect our planet tomorrow. I am always looking at Earth as though I am on a Starship traveling through space. This is exactly what we are doing every day, traveling around the center of the universe on a set course that has been preordained from the beginning of time.

Our survival depends on how soon we grasp the idea and the concept that Mother Earth is our Starship. Our survival depends on learning from mistakes and learning how to correct the detrimental damages we are doing. What was it that Einstein said about Insanity? .....doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.....

Oil companies should be looking for ways to transition from fossil fuels to solar or some other power source to run our vehicles. Tesla Motors is building electric cars and soon will be using better batteries for longer distances. I am challenging Oil Companies to use their wealth to find ways to design an engine that can propel a space craft to 20 million MPH's. This is the speed needed to get to the edge of our solar system and back in less than six months. I am also challenging auto manufacturers to build cars that use the free energy that Earth produces every day.

There are no do-overs if we destroy Starship Earth. WE must take action today to make changes to our environment. We are and should always be learning from the things we discover. Babies learn to walk by trial and error, they learn to speak from listening to others. Humanity advances by the same methods. But there are those that do not wish to advance because of pure and simple greed. Jealousy and hatred are also holding us back from advancing. Our technology is advancing so fast today that a new cell phone today is obsolete tomorrow. (Well almost)

We should be thinking about our planet as though it is a Starship. If we continue our current destructive practices humanity will become extinct sooner than you think.

I will use the Starship Enterprise of the movies and TV series Startrek as an example. This spacecraft would have to have so much technology on board that it is mind boggling. In our own homes, you can see the effects of having cats and dogs inside, we get hairballs in every corner of the house. Dust gathers everywhere as well. In a spacecraft, you must have a system that cleans the air and removes the hairballs and dust particles. Trash and garbage must be recycled and reused and the list goes on and on.
