What happens when your life turns upside down!

 My writing skills have been just as the headline says !

"Out of Order"  

It all happened because I decided to care for the one person who made my life so complete.  January 2015 was an ordinary month until my soul mate, best friend, and husband awoke extremely tired around the 26th January 2015.  

Three days later he was hopitilised with Dr's running around frantically trying to work out what was wrong with this normally healthy, vibrant,  witty, tenacious, super intelligent, well respected, loved and devoted family man of 61.  

5 days later after so many vials of blood had been dispersed from his body for screening by various laboratories he was diagnosed with a blood disorder called Multiple Myeloma. My reaction and ignorance to anything sinister was to merely ask the doctors to give him medicine or antibiotics and make him better... Alas that was not to be. Many trips for chemotherapy, blood transfusions and constant stays in hospital due to ongoing infections was going to be our life from this day forward.  

What do you do when your life changes within a week?  

When you love someone you do what you need to do and I was by his side through thick and thin, in sickness and in health and till death did we part.

Now I guess by now you are thinking this is more like a personal blog post rather than anything to do with business! However, I am my business, I am personal, so therefore I needed to advise my connection and readers as to where I had disappeared to. I could have outsourced my work, and in some instances I did, but I believe there are some parts of your business that just fit the mold of a "personal" you. 

I am now back into social media and marketing for a variety of businesses. In the many hours of waiting and sitting in hospitals,I didn't knit, crochet, do crosswords, Sudoku or read novels. I  kept learning via webinars and reading the latest information on the social media sphere.... and so you might ask why?

It kept me focused, real and in touch with my love of "social" for business.

I look forward now to writing more regularly bringing to my audience a new light of what it means to be using social media  as one of the many forms of creating awareness for what it is you have to offer.
