What Happens When You Stop Telling Yourself You're Not Good Enough?

You're not a bad person.

You're not a bad friend.

You're not a bad parent.

And you're definitely not a bad person who is neglecting their own #mentalhealth !

How many times have you heard someone say, "I'm so tired! I need more sleep," or "I'm so stressed out—what can I do about it?" When we hear these statements, we want to tell them that they're doing everything in their power to make themselves feel better. They're taking care of themselves and putting their health first. And yet…

Sometimes we think that if only we could just do this one thing differently, then our lives would be perfect. But no matter how many changes we make or what kinds of relationships we pursue, there will always be something missing from our lives if we ignore or neglect our own needs.

We are all human, and we all make mistakes. But as humans, we need to be reminded that it is okay to love ourselves even when we don't feel like it. It's important to remind ourselves that there is always room for #improvement , but in order to improve, you have to start with yourself.

#Beingkind to yourself and practicing #selfcompassion can help break the cycle of negative thoughts and feelings about oneself.

The key is learning how to balance your self-criticism with a compassionate understanding of what you're going through or struggling with at the moment.

The truth is that #selfcare is not selfishness; it's just living your life in the best way possible for YOU! You deserve to take care of yourself just as much as anyone else does, and when you take care of yourself, everyone benefits!

There are no right or wrong ways to self-care and #selflove —it's all about what works for you and your unique situation.

I encourage you to try these #affirmations for yourself or a loved one. These Affirmations helped me, maybe they will help you too.
