What happens at the Ask retreat

Asking for what you want can be hard. The fear of rejection, worrying that it will place a burden on the other person, or simply not being sure about what you want can all show up as hurdles.

And in the end, it can often feel easier to just go with the flow and not even think about what you want.

At the Ask retreat (Feb 26-Mar 1 at Easton Mountain), we’ll be taking a deep dive into understanding what you want in an erotic space. You will be asking yourself what you want to create and you’ll be asking those around to help you build it.

Held within a tight and safe (enough) sacred container, Adam Nicholson (that’s me) and Corinne Diachuk will guide you on a journey through your body, mind, and soul so that you can leave a deeper level of discernment around what you want, why you are asking for it, and how to negotiate for it.

Knowing what you truly want makes it easier to receive pleasure

What I’ve noticed through my work is that a deeper understanding of why you want something makes it a lot easier to ask for. However, far too often we don’t ask ourselves why we want something, and instead, we fall into habits - especially in an erotic space.

Many men I speak to are seeking deeper connections, clarity of purpose, and a better understanding of their path. But when put into an erotic space, habits creep in and many will choose to do something more sensually fun rather than creating something that relates to deepening connection, purpose, or path.

Not that sensual fun can’t accomplish that, as it certainly can. But at Ask, we’ll be asking you to push yourself a bit deeper. If you want to do something that is sensually fun, go for it, we’ll just be asking you to consider why you’re asking for it. And we’ll be encouraging you to create pleasure for yourself that is outside of your habits and routines.

At Ask, you will get to extend and expand your vision of pleasure and test just how far it can go. You will notice what it feels like in your body when you choose your soul’s desires over surface-level wants.

Taking that data will inform how you make decisions in an erotic space - and out of one. Those feelings of satisfaction and fulfillment will express themselves the same way whether or not you are in the bedroom or the boardroom - it is just a matter of you paying attention to your subtle energies.

What’s going to happen at Ask

The foundation of the retreat will be centered around the Three-Minute Game and the Wheel of Consent - two tools that are endlessly fascinating in their ability to understand surface-level wants and soul-level desires. You can check out my podcast interview with the inventor of the with Harry Faddis, the inventor of the Three-Minute Game, here, and you can listen to my interview with Corinne Diachuk on the Wheel of Consent here.

Corinne will also be joining us as a facilitator. She is one of the best teachers I have ever worked with and I am excited that she will be bringing her expertise, eroticism, and feminine energy into this space.

From that foundation, I will be leading workshops throughout the afternoon and evening that allow us to go deeper into our desires. We will apply various tantric principles to the work and hold space for one another as we go deeper and deeper into our bodies.

This is a one-track retreat and I’ll be asking everyone to attend every workshop to help hold the container for one another.

On the final evening, we will all join together for a ritual that will allow your desires to be fully seen by the group. You will be witnessed as you ask for all that you want in this space and out of this space.

My intention for you

My intention in creating this retreat is to build a space where you can experiment in creating a new life full of new forms of pleasure. As men, we often find ourselves in spaces that are ostensibly about pleasure but in my experience, don’t often push me to the heart of my true desires.

My job, as well as Corinne’s and the other assisters, will be to hold this space for you so that you can expand as far as you are able.

In my journey, it has been in spaces like this that I have experienced the most growth, the most pleasure, and the most transformation.

They have also been the rarest.

So, I want to build this container so you can experiment with pleasure and transform your life.
