Canadian Partnership Against Cancer
Championing the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control through an equity lens with our partners.
Will my cancer come back? Can I return to work and is it ok to ask for accommodations? Will I be able to have children? Why am I so tired? These are just some of the questions we know people living with cancer have.
With more people living longer after their cancer diagnosis, understanding and meeting their ongoing physical, emotional, and mental health needs is critical to helping people lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
Recognizing the growing importance of survivorship within the cancer continuum, the Partnership has been supporting survivorship initiatives across Canada since 2007 and it remains a focus in the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control.???
A new Partnership resource—Life after cancer: Transforming the post-treatment experience—will help you learn more about what matters to those living with cancer, how to better support them and leading examples of how partners across Canada, with support from the Partnership, are addressing patients’ needs after cancer treatment ends.?
