Pop-Machina Policy Roundtable Workshop in Brussels and Final General Assembly Meeting in Istanbul

In September 2023, the Pop-Machina policy roundtable in Brussels brought together 27 stakeholders to discuss the #circular economy policy. Panel discussions explored #policy, #sustainability, and #innovation. Participants networked for collaboration, recognizing the positive impact of maakleerplek in Stad Leuven. The project's final General Assembly took place in Istanbul, marking the project's conclusion, and giving an opportunity for partners to join the activities in Istanbul's #makerspace DIA ISTANBUL .

ReMuNet Project Kicked Off in Aachen, Germany in early September

The ReMuNet Project 's Kick-off meeting in Aachen on September 6th and 7th was incredibly productive. The coordination team at FIR an der RWTH Aachen did an outstanding job in organizing the meeting, facilitating three focus groups, and creating a friendly and collaborative atmosphere among partners.

CORALIS 2nd face-to-face Steering Committee meeting in Brescia, Italy

The CORALIS EU project Consortium recently had a successful face-to-face Steering Committee meeting in Brescia, Italy on the 26th and 27th of September. They visited industrial demosites involved in metal recovery within steelmaking and iron foundry, led by ORI Martin Group and Fonderia di Torbole S.r.l. , and discussed project progress at Confindustria Brescia 's headquarters.

BECoop H2020 final semester meeting held in Montanema, Karditsa!

The BECoop H2020 Consortium recently held its final semester meeting in the Montanema area of Karditsa, Greece. The meeting featured field visits to the Energy Community of Karditsa SYN PE (ESEK) biomass plant and a local kindergarten that demonstrated the use of bioenergy pellets from local wood and coffee residues for sustainable heating.

SCENE EU Project held its 2nd plenary meeting in Porto

On September 12 and 13, the SCENE EU Project Consortium met in Porto for its 2nd project plenary meeting, organised by MOG Technologies - An EVS brand focusing on technical collaboration and the development of an integrated platform. Discussions covered various topics, including Media Asset Manager, SCENE-O ontologies, and data integration. Ethical matters regarding intellectual property rights were addressed with the Ethics Advisory Board.
