PGS has been awarded an offshore wind farm site characterization contract in the US by an unnamed renewable energy company.

PGS will use the?Sanco Swift, which is rigged as an offshore wind site characterization vessel. Mobilization is scheduled for August 2023 and acquisition is expected to complete in February 2024, with total project duration of approximately 180 days...

Latest News and Updates: The Grampian Derwent has been delivered to North Star

The Grampian Derwent SOV for North Star has been delivered from Vard Vung Tau in Vietnam.


This SOV is the second of four purpose designed and built ships destined for decade-long minimum charters to support operations and maintenance (O&M) work at the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm. Once the windfarm currently under construction is fully operational, the complete windfarm will become the largest in the world, producing enough electricity to power six million British homes.

The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) has appointed three new non-executive directors to its Board to help guide its £100 million offshore wind supply chain development programme in the UK.


The new board members – Tim Pick, Isobel Sheldon OBE and Professor Simon Weeks – bring decades of experience across several strategically important sectors including offshore wind, energy, battery research and development, electric vehicles, and aerospace. Current OWGP Board Chair Martin Whitmarsh and Director Stephen Burgin will retire from the Board at the end of July...
