What Happened To One Of My Oahu Only Remote Computer Support Clients?

One of my Oahu only $9.95 remote computer client called me on a Saturday. Now technically my hours are only Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m HST., but that rarely stops me from helping one of my remote computer clients here on Oahu.

I had set up Google Drive backup and sync on her computer in preparation for when, not if her computer crashes. She got a note in the lower right-hand corner of her screen stating Google Drive could not find her documents folder. I asked her if I could look at her computer screen remotely. She said yes. She double click on the software giving me permission to enter her computer and within five minutes I fixed the problem. 

I then proceeded to do some preventative maintenance on her computer clearing out temporary internet files and junk which slow her computer down and cause it to work harder.

What Would it Have Cost Her If She Did Not Have The Foresight To Utilize My Oahu Only Remote Computer Support For $9.95 Per Month?

This service gives her me, a computer troubleshooting expert, my help remotely for 1 hour per month. I would have had two options to help her with her computer problem. 

1. Make a house call at $95.00 per hour with a minimum of one hour
2. Help her remotely at $95.00 prt hour with a minimum of one hour.

Both options would have cost her $95.00 for just that one computer fix. Well worth it of course since I’ve also spent time cleaning up my competitors messes. 

I May Be Nuts for Doing This

 I admit, I still think I’m a little nuts for offering this remote service to Oahu residents for only $9.95 per month for an hour of my time per month. What I’m depending on is it will help keep my name in front of people’s thoughts when they need their computers’ repaired, cell phone lessons, tablet troubleshooting or printers setup. 

Anyhow, the great experiment continues. Don’t worry my fellow islands, United States mainland and our sister state Alaska, I’m working something out for you folks as well.
