What IS Growth Mentor and what do you get from it?

I get asked this quite often now that I’m offering my time and expertise via Growth Mentor. Let me explain it here.

First off, what is GrowthMentor ? It’s a platform that connects mentees with mentors. Business founders, CEOs, marketers, and a lot of B2B folks are the main audience. However, there are also A/B testing experts, career coaches, designers, and people like me there too.

As a mentee, you get:

• Access to this vetted community.
• 1 session a month on a cheaper plan and unlimited sessions with quarterly.
• You can post help requests if you have specific questions, and mentors APPLY to help you.
• Get the answers to specific questions, brainstorm with an expert, vent frustration in a safe environment and get advice from someone who's been there and done that.

As a mentor, you:

• Have to pass the screening process.
• Give your time for free as a way to give back to the community, grow, and get a chance to see what your product-market fit is with your services and expertise.
• Get VERY good SEO for your name once your profile is up on Growth Mentor, so have a good photo and write-up ready.
• Need to get 3 reviews (not sessions) in order to unlock an option to charge for your time, if that's what you want. Most mentors don't.
• Get to give away 3 sessions a month to new mentees.
• If someone buys a mentee subscription via your link, you get a small affiliate payout for their first year. Here's my link, for that matter.
• When you give a session, you can get a session as a mentee - this is my favourite part so far!
• Get an opportunity to collect really nice reviews that not only help you grow and improve but also use them on your platforms.
• Become part of local mentor communities and meet-ups.
• Once you hit 100 reviews, Foti Panagiotakopoulos , the founder, says he’ll fly you to Greece (goals).

I have recently reached 10 reviews, and my journey is just starting. So far I'm very excited to give back and get so much in return. Plus, a dopamine boost once someone books a session with you.
