What good is an optimized LinkedIn profile if no one sees it?

There are quite a few people here on LinkedIn who say their specialty is LinkedIn. So what makes you different, Deanna?
The difference is you get me and you get the strategy I created.
My triangle - Profile, Engagement, and Content is unique to me.
There are quite a few people here who say they are a LinkedIn coach. No one does what I do.
There are plenty of people who you can hire who will be willing to either give you feedback on your LinkedIn profile OR will even create a better LinkedIn profile for you.
Then what?
Do you know what to do on LinkedIn after your profile is done?
Do you know how to become more visible here?
Do you know how to create really awesome content that works on LinkedIn?
These are all things I help my clients with after the profile is optimized.

We work together on locating the people you want to be seen by. We work together on having conversations with people who you want to do business with. We work together with changing your mindset on how you view LinkedIn. It's NOT an online resume. It IS a ginormous (that's the technical word for it :)) professional networking platform. There are now 850 million people on LinkedIn.
We work together on how to create really good content that allows people to see you. We work together on how to create the posts on LinkedIn that creates conversations here. The goal is always creating conversation, not to go viral.
When I designed the Leverage Up LinkedIn triangle, I put the LinkedIn profile first because it's the primary piece of the puzzle.
Your profile goes with you wherever you go on LinkedIn, with every comment with every post.
Triangles don't exist as one point though. They are always three pieces. Geometry has never been a strength for me, but the Leverage Up triangle is equal. Profile, Engagement and Content are the three main pieces of the LinkedIn triangle.
You can't have one piece without the other two.
Before you hire someone to work with you on your LinkedIn presence, ensure that you do your research because it's about the big picture.
Did you hear we have a new website? I'm very proud of how it came out. Check out https://leverageupllc.com/

2 年Unless someone is connecting, commenting or trying to read my articles there is no reason to view my profile. I receive a lot of hate views. After mentioning Bitcoin reminds me of a drug deal there have been Bitcoin viewers. I would never connect with them. I used to have anti maskers view my profile after angrily telling me that masks and vaccinations are ineffective. Again, no reason to connect. There are productive views. A first degree connection viewed it to follow up on a comment. If there were a way to turn off "Who Viewed Your Profile" I would. Also, people view the profile to disconnect- that happened to me last week. A man suggested I sign up for his newsletter, I hadn't made the decision and then he disconnected. No reason to support him now.

2 年Deanna Russo yes Profile, Engagement, and Content are important. What do you tell people when it comes to the quality of their network and the reach past their 1st level connections to their 2nd & 3rd level connections?

2 年So what you're saying is... it's an equilateral triangle! ?? My son would figure that out, he's so proud of how he knows all his shapes (including three-dimensional ones) and has for years!
