What gifts are you sitting on?

From a very young age, we often hear that we have to choose between things we want to do - either you join the sports club or start playing an instrument. This very easily creates the belief, that we can only do one thing and have to give up the others. What if that is not true? What if you could stop having to choose and do it ALL?
Now I can hear a lot of doubt saying ‘That’s not possible. How should that ever work with only having so much time?’.
Time is relative - because it is all about how you USE the time that you are given. Too often we spend 8 hours or more a day doing things we don’t like, because society taught us that we have to work hard to earn money so that we can live - which to some extend is very true, as money is the exchange tool we are using to be able to choose the things we want and need in life.?
But HOW that money enters our lives is up to us. Most of the time when I tell people that I’m an actor, the response is ‘Oh that’s cool, but what do you do for a living?’. This has always hit me hard, because it shows that in today’s world the assumption is, that following your passion equals being broke.
Yes, there were very hard years when I really struggled financially, but it was not because of acting, it was because I limited myself to one path only. So I took on jobs I didn’t really like, thinking that if I do that, at least I don’t have to worry about money. But then what? Then I became dead inside and depressed because I was putting myself in a cage, I clipped my wings, I put all my other gifts, passions and talents in a box and stowed them away.?
It wasn’t until a friend of mine said that I changed her life by just listening to her and reflecting what she’s doing and believing. This was a wake-up call for me to become more. That day I decided I want to not only use my skills but use my whole BEING to bring change into this world, to inspire and empower others to feel fully alive, no matter their circumstances, that it’s absolutely okay to have multiple dreams, goals and passions - and it’s possible to not only survive, but to start living and to thriving by following them all.?
Being a polymath has been met with criticism, doubt, ridicule and sometimes emotional pain, but it was worth it because I am living the life I never dared to live.?
So this goes out to all of you who want to break out of the cage, spread your wings and fly! This is YOUR time to DARE to become alive, to become unstoppable, to become BOUNDLESS.?
