What Gets People Buying Black-Owned Brands Long-Term
Good morning everyone and I hope that you are doing well. Today is an exciting day for The Black Business School. We are taking the next step of expanding beyond education by providing our audience with the opportunity to invest in qualified companies through AngelList syndicates. Tonight at 8 PM ET, Akili Hinson will give a presentation talking about the opportunities in the $240 billion primary healthcare market. We have over 1300 people registered for the webinar, so if you would like to join, you can do so here.
As you know, I love it when my friends and family are mentioned in the news. First, my friend Almuhtada Smith wrote an excellent article for Bloomberg Law about the similarities between the legal industry and the Brian Flores/NFL discrimination case. Second, there was a great write-up about Dr. Ken Harris' event featuring my older brother, Dr. Boyce Watkins.
Last but not least, I'll be at South by Southwest March 13 - March 16. If you're going to be around, I would love to connect!
