What are full nodes and light nodes in blockchain?

Full nodes is the blockchain database that store the whole blockchain data. Full nodes contain information about all blocks and the complete record of transactions in these blocks. In order for the network to function, there must be at least one full node.

Light nodes contains only the necessary data to verify transactions.?Light nodes operate quickly without causing their underlying systems to become overloaded with data. It often passes its data to full nodes to be processed.
