With over a decade of experience in the mortgage industry, I’ve learned a great deal about what it takes for loan officers to build thriving businesses. The mortgage industry certainly has its challenges, and mortgage professionals need to be prepared to ride the waves of the market. But that doesn’t mean their success is out of their control.
Two of the most important areas when it comes to growing a successful business are marketing and relationship building. By focusing on these key components of their work, mortgage professionals lay the foundation for a robust pipeline of business. This is because, when it comes down to it, the mortgage industry is all about connections. It’s about our connections with prospects and clients as well as with realtors and other industry professionals.
