Protein helps you build muscle and even powers the immune system. But it’s not always easy to get enough, especially if you follow a plant-based diet.

In recent years, especially during the pandemics, I have noticed how connected I am to nature and how vital it is to me, to the point that I usually really need to go into it to feel empowered to face my life journey.

I always feel a deep sense of connection to the forest. I noticed it first as a very small child. Finding security and peace, propped up against the trunk of a great oak, book in hand, and imagination playfully taking me on a fantastic journey. It is where I feel free of the load of daily pressures. The whispers through the leaves, the branches reaching out to you, as a cradle, the ever changing view as one winds along the forest path, as it guides you on your way. For young and old, the draw of the forest remains ever present… through every season, colour change, rebirth, it is always available. It calls to us, it ignites something deep within us, it connects with us and it protects us. And so, we must protect them…
