What Feels Like Ending, Is Often the Beginning!

In 2019 Devesh and Shivani were in their 30s when they tried to conceive. However, after spending about 10 months with no positive pregnancy test insight, they began to seek fertility treatment to know the underlying cause of infertility.

After several tests, the cause of infertility was never found. It was frustrating for them to get no specific answer and even more heartbreaking to realize that they might not feel the joy of a complete family.

Well, what feels like the ending is often the beginning.?

The Journey of the couple will bring tears of Joy even in hearts made of stone. Unfold their success story in Devesh’s words.

“There were many things to celebrate these days after years of uncertainties, heartbreaks, and wishes that took a long time to come true. We got married in Dec. 2017, and while happily beginning our new life journey together, we decided to wait on planning our family. Little did we know that our waiting period of 1 year would continue to extend on its own.

After around 10 months of trying naturally in 2019, we went into our first OB/GYN appointment. She discussed our medical history and asked Shivani about her menstrual cycle and ovulation, though everything was normal. She prescribed some medication and told us to try again. But still, success was nowhere in sight.

What was more curious to me was that we both are healthy individuals and never had any serious medical history, but still, we are struggling to be a parent. Maybe it was something that we hadn't been aware of, like something of a poor lifestyle or habits, and I wasn’t sure.

On our 2nd visit to OB/GYN, we both had fertility tests, including Pelvic examination, Semen analysis & ultrasound. But the doctor had not seen any problem, or we can say it was a clear case of?"unexplained infertility,".

Though it was good to hear there wasn’t any fertility health issue, our doctor recommended IUI treatment. Well, it was another failed attempt, not once but twice.

By this point, Shivani had lost the hope of ever being a mom. But, I wasn’t ready to give up yet. I insisted our doctor suggest a solution. Lastly, she referred to IVF treatment as the only option from one of the fertility clinics of Crysta IVF here in Mumbai. Without wasting any more days, I booked an appointment with Dr. Chaitali Taware.

During our first meeting, she analyzed our previous medical history and tests. As we had already failed IUI, she said there’s a strong chance of achieving pregnancy in the 1st cycle of IVF.

About IVF, I was only aware that people spend too much money on IVF but don’t get success in the first cycle. So, I was anxious as it may cause financial worries if IVF didn’t work out for us too in the 1st attempt.

However, Dr. Chaitali proved her words right. We had a successful IVF with just the 1st attempt. Maybe it was because of the individualized treatment she planned for us or the confidence she and her staff built in us throughout this journey.”
