What it Feels Like to Create Your Joy Bubble

In light of it being Black Men’s Mental Health Week, I have chosen to highlight the results of the men who attend my Jynger Bytes workshops. On Wednesday, June 12th I held my third Jynger Bytes Workshop called Creating Your Joy Bubble. I have seen an increase in men mostly, Black, signing up for my workshops. The intrigue of creating joy within, with someone who calls themselves the Ultimate Joy Goddess sounds like a true resource. You may be aware of the recent passing of Congressman Payne Jr. from a heartache. The irony is that he was a major advocate for ending healthcare disparities amongst men. It is as if his legacy was distilled with his passing. One of my recent attendees is a poster child for being a team player with his wife. Dr. Okey Enyia who wrote an OP ED on the death of Congressman Payne, Jr. Dr. Enyia is on a mission to support Black fathers to create self-care habits and is a researcher at NIH and advocate for ending healthcare disparities as well.
?
Changing the collective consciousness looks like this. Fathers and mothers working as a team to support each other in self-nurturing. The mission of my company is to help people to create sustainable systems of self-nurturing and build the family unit from within starting with the mothers. The distinction between self-care and self-nurturing as I say in my book Detached Love: Transforming Your Heart So That You Can Transform Your Mind is “...an everyday state of being, not a once in a while treat...Nurture reflects a general attitude toward yourself, an attitude of believing you are worthy of tenderness, and able to provide it to yourself through your thoughts and actions”.??
?
Many Black men and women do not have this belief and it is affecting their mortality. In previous articles, I have discussed Multi-Orgasmic Living vs Multimorbidity. Multi-orgasmic living is living a life of self-nurturing which begins with self-intimacy. My Jynger Bytes workshops are a snapshot of what self-nurturing feels like.

If you wonder if my work is for you, look at the results of some of my recent participants beginning with this video from Michael A. Ramos
“ It is interesting how we both came into this trying to understand the joy bubble process. It seems like a misnomer…from my perspective it seems like a flux of energy in and out meanwhile there is an internal radiance. My hands were tingling like before a Reiki session. We both benefited from our shoulder movements and a lot of rest on our shoulders. Being able to move intentionally was cathartic for me. Shifting that energy and the physical effects and being able to have those movements was a major release for us.”
In our debrief session a few days later
Michael shared:
"You are encouraging us to Move for the sake of feeling not exercise or stretching
What I have noticed is “having more sensation with his partner. Greater connectivity to self. Being present in self. My senses are heightened. It awakened something that was dormant for a long time and I am now feeling a flood of energy. This deep reservoir has been opened up. Like Neo when he figured out the matrix in relation to his hand …this movement is perfect for men forty and up to increase of libido and so much more”
Does this sound like something that could benefit you? This summer I am having a cohort of up to four people.?
