What it Feels Like To Be ALIVE!

To everyone, I've just had to share with you the experience that I and thousands of others had last week while?here?taking my GCSE Higher paper in Maths, I?was like no other. I'm a mature student looking to study medicine?and?this paper is critical for that move, but what a just journey it has been! Exams are stressful by any stretch of the imagination?but?there's more to them than just ticking the?right?box, there's?something far more beautiful and enjoyable. My exercise over the last?2?years has been?one of?discovery and adventure.

For myself, I know what I want in life although my newfound choice of profession came later in life, what's important is that it came! I wrote an article last year on that moves in life are never too late, and the sooner you?realise?that the sooner you enroll on a college course that will take you where you want to go, and by God, you will feel a lot better. After my exam and the feelings of excitement that I had just felt I had to get them out to my closest friends, it went on to my colleague lecturers as well. The exam was hard, but, what a ride. Below is a copy of the letter I sent. I hope in some way that it inspires those who want to jump ship to do so, and now

Dear Ladies and Gents

I've just had to share this experience.

I've just sat my first Higher Math's GCSE paper with thousands of others in the country, and the experience was incredible. Did I do well, well, that I will see there are three papers. The experience was akin to that of the buzz on a trading floor, youth won the day along with mature students, it was a memorising cacophony of sound and hustling as everyone went to be registered and then tried to relax with morning refreshments laid on by the college. The atmosphere could have been cut by a knife, it was ecstatic with a mixture of nerves and expectation. I've never felt so excited with fear like this. This, is what keeps you young, exercise yes, but that mind, that human spirit, that needs to be with the young and mature students who share a dream.

I'm off this afternoon on as I've been invited to start my 3rd?year at another college in access to Medicine, yes after 2 hard years I've hopefully earned my way on to this course.?

Get out and mix with those who don't only dream, but place that one key foot? in front of them and take that giant leap! If I could bottle the feeling I had this morning, and still have and sell it, Id bee a millionaire by 7pm tonight, if not sooner!
