What a fantastic year Burns Recruitment has had !!

Well where do I start??  I’ll start by saying how proud I am of my staff and the effort they have put in from day 1.  Developing and expanding a business is a challenge and we all know how important it is to find the right people who will dedicate their time and efforts and treat the company as if its their own.

WE have come a long way and we are all excited for what this years going to bring.  Today I would like to introduce you to my team at Burns Recruitment.  Everyone has a different role within the business but we all have the same goal……………to succeed

Lucy Gould                   Specialist within the Manufacturing & Engineering Sector.  Lucy is a valid member of the team who can turn her hand to all levels of roles.  She has a passion for manufacturing which brings out the tom boy in her.  Lucy is very competitive in both her professional and personal activities, she plays for her local team in football and enjoys keeping fit which keeps her top of her game.

Rachael Davies             With 10 years manufacturing experience working within the NPD, Technical Engineering and production focusing in the Food industry Rachael has a real passion for food inside and outside of work.  To ensure she enjoys the niceties in life she pounds the streets which keeps her motivated and healthy.  

Luke Liddy                   Is the centre of the team and keeps us all in check.  He supports with the day to day running of the business, manages the invoices, stats, interviews, job postings and keeps us updated on the manufacturing news.  He is shy at first but once you get to know him he’s full of whit and very charming.  Luke is a very quick learner loves computers and is grasping the technical side with ease.  In his spare time he enjoys playing the guitar and learning new songs, he loves basketball and is right height for it too.  Going on holiday keeps him motivated and spending time with girlfriend.  His long term goals is to able to travel to different destinations around the world.

Gerwyn Davies             Has recently joined Burns Recruitment and has six years` experience of recruiting permanent and contract Technical and Engineering roles. In his spare time he puts himself through torture watching Cardiff City Football.  Gerwyn is a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and little boy, Caravanning in Tenby and holidays abroad.

Ashley Williams            Has just been promoted to consultant covering the Technical Engineering sector.  Ashley is hard working, never gives up and takes anything that is thrown at him…Ashley is an avid sport fan with his preference being bowls which is plays for his local team.  He is very competitive and loves healthy competition in the office.  Being the centre of the conversation I think banter is his forte           

Laura Austin                 Being the newest recruit, Laura has already proven to be a valid member of the team.  She has started as a Trainee Resourcer with a view to develop into a budding Recruitment Consultant.  Laura’s bubbly personality is what every office needs, she shows her vulnerability and shyness at first but she warms up pretty quickly.  She enjoys socialising with her friends and spending time with her 3 nieces which run her ragged. Laura’s motivation at the moment is progression and is loving the experience.

The above doesn’t even come close to describe them.  My job is to keep their feet firmly on the ground, to remind them of our Mission and to ensure we get there in one piece.
