Circuit board processing is a product that belongs to OEM customers. Different customers order products are different, and there are few shared products. On the other hand, some customers may also specify certain use for quality reasons. Manufacturers' substrates, or inks, etc., to meet their quality and cost control requirements, so PCB processing has a variable price.

  PCB prices are made up of several factors:

  First, the material used in the PCB is different, resulting in price diversity

  Taking ordinary double-panel as an example, the sheet material generally has FR-4, CEM-3, etc., the thickness of the sheet varies from 0.6mm to 3.0mm, and the thickness of copper varies from 1Oz to 3Oz, all of which are caused by one sheet. There is a huge price difference; in the case of solder resist inks, there is also a certain price difference between ordinary thermosetting oil and photosensitive green oil, and thus the difference in materials causes price diversity.

  Second, the different production processes used by PCBs result in price diversity

  Different production processes can result in different costs. Such as gold-plated plate and tin-plated plate, the shape of the 锣 (milling) plate and beer (punching) plate, the use of silk screen lines and dry film lines will form different costs, resulting in price diversity.

  Third, the price diversity caused by the difficulty of the PCB itself

  Even if the materials are the same and the process is the same, the difficulty of the PCB itself will result in different costs. For example, if there are 1000 holes on both boards, the hole diameter of one plate is larger than 0.6mm and the hole diameter of the other board is less than 0.6mm, which will form different drilling costs; if the two boards are the same, but the line width is the same Different, one is greater than 0.2mm, and one is less than 0.2mm, which will also result in different production costs. Because the difficulty of the board is higher, the cost will increase, which will result in price diversity.

  Fourth, different customer requirements will also result in different prices

  The level of customer requirements will directly affect the yield of the board factory. For example, a board has a 98% pass rate according to IPC-A-600E, class1 requirements, but only a 90% pass rate may be required according to class 3, thus causing different costs for the board factory. Finally, the price of the product is variable.

  5. Price diversity caused by different PCB manufacturers

  Even the same product, but because of different manufacturers' process equipment and technical level, different costs will be formed. Many manufacturers nowadays prefer to produce gold-plated plates. Because of the simple process and low cost, some manufacturers also produce gold-plated plates, which will rise when scrapped. The cost is increased, so they prefer to produce tinplate, so their tinplate prices are lower than goldplates.

  Sixth, the price difference caused by different payment methods

  At present, PCB board manufacturers generally adjust PCB prices according to different payment methods, ranging from 5% to 10%, which also causes price differences.

  Seven, different regions cause price diversity

  At present, from the geographical point of view, from south to north, the price is increasing, and the prices in different regions are different. Therefore, the regional differences also cause the price diversity to calculate the PCB price!

  1, sheet costs (different sheet costs are different)

  2, drilling costs (the number of holes and the size of the hole affect the drilling costs)

  3, process costs (the different process requirements of the board lead to different process difficulties, and the price will be different)

  4, artificial water and electricity plus management costs (this cost depends on the cost control of each factory, relatively speaking, the Taiwan-funded factory is low in many countries) basic composition of these, as the price of raw materials, now basically stabilized, up The price is unlikely.

  The cost calculation of the PCB industry is the most special and complicated in all industries. From material cutting, pressing, forming, to FQC, packaging, and finishing, it is necessary to invest in material costs, labor costs, manufacturing costs, etc. for each process.
