What are the factors that affect the fading of color steel plates?
Why do some color steel plates still look as bright as new after more than ten years of use, while others noticeably fade after one or two years of use? What is the reason for the fading of the color steel plate?
There are three main factors that affect the fading of color steel plates:
One issue is the quality of the paint used in the coating, which directly affects the anti fading performance of the color steel plate.
The second issue is that too low a coating process temperature or too fast a line speed can affect the curing quality of the coating, thereby affecting its anti fading performance.
The third reason is that the type of coating chosen varies, and the anti fading performance naturally varies. Fluorocarbon is superior to high thickness resistance, and high thickness resistance is superior to ordinary polyester.
Fourthly, the anti fading performance of different colors is also different, and the brighter the color, the faster it fades. The last point is that the duration and intensity of ultraviolet radiation, as well as the inclination angle of the installation of color steel tiles, will affect the fading age of the color steel plate. It is obvious that the fading age of the negative and positive surfaces is different, and the fading age of the walls and roofs is different.
