What to Expect in a Virtual Interview

Prepare, Prepare, Prepare! One website that can help you prepare for Q&A session is DOT Intel (dotintel.com). Once you and your team have practiced similar interview questions start your interview off strong with the following Dos and Dont's.

What are the differences between an in-person interview vs. a virtual besides the location?

  • Webcam and sound quality – make sure you are visible, and sound is clear and understanding
  • 360 view of the consultant location. If the consultant team is all congregated in one conference, then only that one room will need to be viewed. Or, if the team is in different rooms, each consultant team member must rotate their webcam to show a clear, unobstructed view of the room.

The 5-minute timer to review the questions will begin as soon as there is receipt acknowledgement of the email and attachment.
