What To Expect Moving Forward

Quick Thoughts

This week, I decided not to post as much on social media platforms like this. Not for any reason in particular but with some much happening inside the growing business that is Hospitality.FM, I wanted to really step away from socials to live up to our tagline of "Going All-In" and something I am taking more and more serious as we grow.

So, my thought behind this article is to make a single post that showcases what's happening behind the scenes and what's coming really soon! I am very well caffeinated right now so just be ready for this brain dump that's about to happen ??

Where To Start?

All right, I am not going to lie but, this media industry and business is incredible. I never thought that as I have grown my career and business in the industry (hospitality) that I would become as passionate (if not more) about audio as I have! Just another reason why I love our industry for allowing individuals like me to do what truly makes them happy. I haven't struggled with my normal depression in over a year and that just shows that living your life based on your love & passions is far more important than living based on others expectations of your life.

Now, I found myself wondering what I wanted to even write but knowing this was just going to be a heartfelt brain dump, here we go!

We're Growing & Learning!

I made a post not too long ago about our first hire, Claire Hooker, who has taken the role of Head of Content and Production for most of our podcasts in the network. She has taken the role on with such confidence and a mindset of "I want to learn more" as we take on new shows and partners! I couldn't be happier with her fast growth already! With that said, I promised Claire upon hiring her that I would give her a team. During our conversations in the beginning, I gave a rough timeline and I am happy to say we have cut that timeline in half and are the hunt for more talented people to join us with at least one confirmed team member onboarding!

We have decided to hire outside of the hospitality industry and hire from within the media and podcast niche specifically for the future vision we have for Hospitality.FM. Again, big decisions and excitement behind all of this! The big lesson from this growth is this... media is so vast and detailed in different areas and as we all know in hospitality, it's crucial to have systems in play. We're mastering our tools for production & project management and we're always balancing the now with the future we see coming.

I am so thankful to be able to have a young and passionate team that owns every decision and action they take.

Wrapping Things Up

I know this article is getting to a lengthy point where I will probably lose a lot of you. I get it and probably should've made this article a podcast or video to help retain your attention spans but in conclusion of this article, we have so many things happening behind the scenes that I can't wait to share! Just know, enhanced audio quality, innovative systems and never done before strategies, new shows being created and signed, and more team members are in the works and will most likely make it into the Part Two of this post so we can really show off the incredible things we're doing within audio!
