What to expect at ISE 2022

Simon Kitson, Smart Meetings Director discusses must see ISE moments and what to expect this coming February,

As we ramp up for ISE 2022, It’s time to identify the key moments from the world’s largest exhibition for AV and systems integration professionals. It’ll be the first time exploring ISE in its new home of Barcelona so what do we need to know?

The first thing you’ll notice upon arrival at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, is the amount of stands and areas to explore. With six technology zones, set out over five spacious halls, 779 vendors will be exhibiting, sharing a wide variety of solutions, latest updates and next gen innovations. It’ll be bigger than it ever was in Amsterdam, do not be tempted by the new shoe purchase.?

Multi-Technology Zone (Hall 3 & 5)

This is a must see for any visitor to ISE, the two halls feature major brands in the AV industry offering solutions for a variety of sectors. From Barco (Booth: 3D400), Crestron (Booth: 3H300,3H400) to Samsung (Booth: 3F600)? and of course our new ISSKI stand (Booth: 3R600). These will be the new core halls for visitors to head to for the newest releases from the biggest brands.?

Unified Communications & Education Technology

At this year’s ISE the two previously separate zones have been combined to create the Unified Communications & Education Technology Zone. Here you will find stands from many of our vendors offering solutions to equip multi-site businesses, boardrooms and meeting spaces as well as educational institutions and professional development specialists. The Zone includes video communications, interactive flat panel displays and content sharing tools, Airtame (Booth: 2D650), Lenovo (Booth: 2G200), Intel (Booth: 2L800), Logitech (Booth: 2L340), Huddly (Booth: 2G210), Google (Booth: 2G220), HP (Booth: 2C600) and Avocor (Booth: 2F200,2E250) will all have stands in this area so make sure to give them a visit.

AV Experience Zone

Following on from its successful debut at ISE’s event in Barcelona in June, this area of the Gran Via, has been produced as a special feature in association with AVIXA, and will see 15 leading Spanish integrators present across the four days.?

The content which will be delivered in Spanish will cover retail, hospitality, corporate, education and digital signage sectors, exploring new business and next generation opportunities.

Among the sessions on the programme will be:

• Experiences, creativity, Big Data and AI for the retail and hospitality sectors
• Event experiences and technology (direct, hybrid and online) for the corporate and hospitality sectors

Panel Discussions and Conferences

Across the week you won’t only have the opportunity to be inspired by the latest technology offerings, featuring expert speakers, presentations and panel discussions, the ISE Conference provides you with a rich multi-language content programme. Combining a mix of free and paid-for events, the 2022 programme covers a wide range of speakers and topics from within the industry.
