What to expect from channel nine

Our mission at channel nine is to create a safe space for Black women to feel, heal, be and evolve through entertaining and enlightening storytelling.

As we prepare to open the doors to this safe space on Sunday, 11/26, here's what you can expect from your membership:

• EVERYTHING ORIGINAL: All of the stories, shows, and documentaries we release, are original. We are Black independent artists with a vision and on a mission to tell unique, in-depth and informed stories about the Black woman’s human experience.

• QUALITY STORYTELLING: In our world, the quality of a story is defined by depth and nuance. So as we’re developing our library, we’re asking ourselves, “How can we go deep?” And “How can get specific?” Always making sure to channel the energy of our ninth house.

• SOMETHING NEW EVERY WEEK: Each week, you can expect either a new episode of an original series, a new livestream conversation, behind the scenes episodes or the other magic we're working on.

• MONTHLY VIRTUAL LIVE CONVERSATIONS: Each month, there will be a virtual live conversation that brings the community together. You can expect either a discussion about a show, a panel conversation or a fireside chat featuring spiritual teachers, thought leaders, artists or authors. These conversations are intended to deepen our relationships with ourselves.

• BEHIND THE SCENES: Every other month, we'll share what it looks like to be on set telling these stories. (At some point, this will be every month. We’re working our way there!)

• COMMUNITY: We tell stories about our community and want to be in community with the women we tell stories about. By joining our community, you'll meet other Black women, like you, who have a desire to go deep. The community is here to talk about the stories we share, the shows we drop, life and more.

Membership for our community and platform is $13/month and opens up for you to join starting this Sunday, November 26th.
