What to expect from a bridal appointment?
Finesse Couture
Bridal Haute Couture designing and manufacturing is what we do.
You’ve been dreaming of this day since you can remember!
Your partner has finally asked the most important question and you’ve said YES!.
?So now it’s time to make that dream a reality. Playing dress up in glamorous gowns with all your family and close friends are a part of most bride’s fantasies.??
But before you can say “I Do” to walk down the aisle, here’s what to expect at your first bridal appointment.
1.PLAN? EARLY
Getting your dress ready for your wedding day can take anywhere between 4 to 7 months. So, the earlier you start, the better off you will be. There are three main factors that affect your wedding shopping which are finding the right bridal salon, choosing your dress and getting it altered in time for the wedding. Although you may have put aside time for all these activities, remember that determining the type of dress beforehand will enable you to choose better.
2.DO SOME RESEARCH WORK
Before you arrive for your first appointment ,do some research work, between what kind of styles or patterns you are looking for, at what price they are available and also keep an eye out if there are any designers that keep cropping up and try to get their appointment.?
You can also write down somewhere what you’re looking for,or something which you already have in your mind because that will help the designer to figure out what you want and do the customization accordingly. Always best to book in advance as weekends can become quite busy and you don’t have to do anything in a rush.

3.SET A BUDGET
Setting a budget is an important step before your first appointment. Nailing down a budget will help you streamline dress options and will make you feel comfortable. Realistically you need to be looking at dresses in your price range. You don’t want to be trying on gowns that are way out of your budget because if you fall in love then you may be very disappointed if you just can't afford it. Let the shops know what budget you’re working towards, so that they can help you find something to suit all your needs.
4.INVITE YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS
Take your family or your close friend along with you, saying YES? to your dream dress is a big decision and sometimes you need your support system with you to make it right. But don’t take too many people along with you just to make everyone happy because too many suggestions can confuse you and might make you rush into your decision which you might regret later. Take people who know? you, who will be honest to you and support you.

REMEMBER ONE THING it’s your wedding so how YOU feel is what’s most important when picking the dress.
5.HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS SHOULD YOU BOOK IN ONE DAY?
Trying on wedding dresses can be really hard work and can be more tiring than you think. We suggest that you make only 3 appointments in one day. One in the morning ,then afternoon and one in the evening. Give yourself a chance to have some food and allow yourself to discuss the dress. In each place it will approximately take 1-2 hours not more than that.
6.PREPARATION FOR YOUR VISIT
?It’s almost time for your appointment , there are just a few more things to keep in mind before going.
7.QUESTIONS YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER ASKING
8. YOU FOUND THE ONE!
If you happen to find the dress, stop looking and start accessorizing if the boutique you are at offers headpieces, veils, or jewelry. Shopping for accessories is best when you are already wearing the gown. After all, some boutiques don’t have pieces that you can take home that day, so they need to be ordered ahead of your gown’s arrival. Once you feel like you’ve nailed your bridal look, it’s time to celebrate with your squad and snap a few photos to remember the moment and the dress. (Just make sure no one posts them). They'll take your measurements and once you pay your deposit, you’ll be on your way to celebrating with your bridal squad!

9. HAVE FUN?
Don’t forget to enjoy each and every moment of yours because at the end it’s your day. Dress shopping is a highlight of your wedding journey so have fun! Try on dresses outside your comfort zone and just enjoy the moment and collect as many memories as you could, memories are the ones which you’re gonna cherish your whole life.!
