What Is The Excelsior League?

I have been raving about our really exciting developments that have been happening, and today we are finally ready to let you in on the new opportunities!

Way back in May of 2019 I did something that turned out to be pretty important, not just for me and my organization but for many other business owners as well. We had been doing live networking for 9 years at that point. We put on over 500 events a year. Networking, masterminds, training events for business owners, social media boot camps, evening mixers and more. I had an idea though, that this would work just as well online and it could save us and save you, the business owner thousands of dollars and a lot of time if we did it that way. We ran some test groups and found we were right!

Imagine that as a business owner, you were doing some form of marketing for 10 years and you figured out a way to do it for a quarter of the price, and with a quarter of the time, and it was bringing in double the revenue that it did before. Does that sound like a good deal? If you told a business coach that story, what do you think he would say? Probably “Keep doing it!”

This was fabulous news for us and for our members, so we launched across the country and sure enough it worked amazingly well. Then March 2020 happened. Suddenly everyone had to pivot to get online quickly, or literally be swept away. Over the next few months we worked night and day, not only on our business, but at the same time helping many of our members make life-giving changes to their businesses. As a result, we have seen some wonderful success stories. Some of these were the coaches and marketers you would expect to do well online, but others were not the savvy online bunch.

For example, in February Michelle Phillips Nystrom of Clearwater County Coffee Co. joined us. She got to come to a couple of live meetings before we closed them all due to the pandemic. She had been working on her coffee business for about 2 years without getting much traction. The network helped her meet the clients she needed but it also gave her the instructional help that she needed to get her social media and online marketing moving. When we offered the Founders Program in May she was the first one to sign up. Michelle dove into the network and took everything we had for her. As a result her business has gone North American wide these last few months, and she no longer is going after small transactions!

Another one was John Nielson from Franklin Auto. March was a scary month for him. He laid people off. He watched friends and competitors go out of business all around him. He had an essential business, however people did not know he was open, and everyone was still in the fetal position. He had to get the message out, or like many others or his business would be doomed. We all did our part to bring him business but one of the best decisions he made was to hire Railgun Marketing to build some email campaigns that would alert the network and his previous customers that he had been open. With some strategy and creativity John Neilson just had the best summer of his career. He just told us that October closed as the best October in his 19 years of business!

These and many other businesses have been thriving due to the CIBN Connect network. We have something here, and it works.
