Single-use plastics
Often also referred to as disposable plastics, are commonly used for plastic packaging and include items intended to be used only once before they are thrown away or recycled. These include, among other items, grocery bags, food packaging, bottles, straws, containers, cups, and cutlery. Single-use plastic items are used for most common applications.
After using the Single-use where it goes
Research Ideally says-
At the end of its lifetime, a product or packaging is recycled, incinerated, landfilled, dumped in uncontrolled sites, or littered in the environment. According to recent estimates, 79% of the plastic waste ever produced now sits in landfills, dumps or in the environment, while about 12% has been incinerated and only 9% has been recycled. These all above are Problem, What we can contribute without any expertise to alternate of Single-use plastic:
-We can set an example with carrying the Jute bag /Cloth bag along with us for any shopping etc
-We have made some sensitive awareness posters (with the help of available snap-on internet.) which you can take printout & request shopkeepers to display on his shop or concern. besides the above information in the article
-Professionals can fix these posters to their workplace, Make it FB cover page (even profile page too if you like), whats-up profile photograph for a few days & share it to JoinForGreenINDIA page.
-We can suggest shopkeeper to keep cloth bag /Jute instead of plastic (Any type single or other),
-Milk ATM can be made mandatory with Phase wise, Similarly, water ATM can be increased.
-The existing bottle can be used to plant a tree. Lots of Innovative ideas on the Internet can be shared.
-Innovative Idea to reduce plastic uses can be shared on the related government site as well as our site so that people can adopt the same.
-Leave Plate can be adopted In place of Plastic / thermocol plate,
-Paper can be used in Place of Single-use Plastic Refer Video Shared by someone
