What Else Will You Notice Today Besides The Date?

In the United States, we write today's date 2/22/22. There are very few dates that can be written with just one number; if my quick calculations are correct, in this century there will be one day per decade in which this occurs (3/3/33, 4/4/44, 5/5/55...).

Since this is an unusual occurrence, I'd like to suggest that you use today to notice as many details as you can, things that you normally don't notice.

You might even go so far as to make a list.

While you are doing this, please try to suspend judgment. That will enable you to compile a list without disrupting your day. (It takes fifteen seconds to write down "Jake drove a convertible to work in the middle of the winter" or "my back is tight on the left side".)

The reason I'm suggesting this is because many of us spend too much time thinking and not enough time feeling, observing and being.

At the end of the day, you might then choose to look at your list and see what feelings—or thoughts—it sparks in you.

I'm not guaranteeing this will be a profound experience, only that it might be interesting.

One bit of good news... even if you don't read this newsletter until 2/23/22 or even 2/24/22, you still have the option to pay closer attention than normal to your day.

Bruce taking a moment to look through My notifications and landed here. Today I take a moment to stop and reflect at 2:22 and feel what's happening around me.

Thank you for posting this date, It means so much to me just because it adds up to the number one (!) which is my lucky number according to an astrologer who gave me a most welcome write up about myself. I am so delighted and I thought how fortunate am I to have my fortune read on this date. I believe in fortune telling more so when the reading is all about positive events to happen in my life. I don't know about you but for me it is my greatest pleasure to read good things waiting to happen in my life.

So many people go through life not paying attention to the details around them. Perhaps some of those people are thinking about them now thanks to this post. I am a great observer, but not a great communicator. Something I undoubtedly need to work on. I think I'll take a 22-minute vacation today too!
