I have been working on IoT technologies since 2008 and have seen tons of standards and technologies emerging in this fast growing industrial revolution 4.0. I was invited by IET Malaysia back in October last year to present about IoT technology. I thought how to make the essential elements to explain to diverse audience of IET/IEM and came out with these information. Primarily providing high level information about IoT and then drilling down to IEEE 802.15.4 technologies.

8 年I think it depends on several factors including what your company wants to provide to customers. If it makes sense and technology is deployable then there should be consideration.. Probably one of the best thing to do is to have simple proof concept and compare with BLE based systems.

8 年nice one thanks for the this post.... well I seen many are people having trouble with the acceptace of technology or protocols or hadware designes which could help in solving a problem. I have seen many people don't consider sub Ghz radios and protocols as standard.. I myself have faced this problem. In an application design which require long range and low power and bandwidth is, I preffered my team to move on subGhz 6LoWPAN.. but seems like they need enlightenment. :) I gave a long ppt on it. but now I hav e to work on BLE devices. BLE is not bad but I think I could do much better low power on simple radios for the application we are working on.
