WHAT IS EFICO REALLY ALL ABOUT?

There has never been a time as we have now, when there is a high demand of people with certain transferable skills needed to drive Nation building. Every facet of the Economy faces an impending crisis, our tomorrow seems uncertain, we can't accurately predict how better or worse the future could get, everyone seems stranded. The sufferers of this problem is certainly those who will still be here after this phase passes (The Young Folks). It is therefore pertinent to educate and inform them, all in a bid to prepare them for the future.

 Schools were created as a reflection of the values of a People, an institution responsible for the furtherance and transfer of a Nations legacy to the younger generation, the curriculums were created to serve as a Panacea to issues and problems of National concern. What we see today may not be a perfect reflection of the purpose schools were meant to serve, however that does not in any way change the fact that it is only through Education that we can drive whatever change we desire to see in our society. The school system, like many others does not exist in a Vacuum, it cannot be self-reliant forever, it needs collaboration and cooperation, that is where we step in. 

 Here at EFICO, we help undergraduates discover themselves using a specified self-assessment test and impart skills in the direction of their natural talent, we also show them the grey areas in their academia in relation to the real world, we expose them to internships and scholarship opportunities within their purview, and ultimately make the African education system make complete sense to them. Like a guardian angel, we hold their hands, and carefully walk them through the different phases of their Curriculum, and help give them a smooth transition into the competitive world.

We achieve this through the following:

1. First, at EFICO we believe that one of the most critical steps to success in career is the understanding of self, hence we utilize our personalized self-assessment test which gives you a clearer picture of your strengths, passion, weaknesses etc. The results from this test will serve as a basis for further action steps and training

 2. A dynamic team of committed, experienced, and high-flying individuals who have committed themselves to personal and capacity development, individuals who also see the world through a global lens. These people have a proven track record of excellent academic and professional performance in every facet of their career journey so far.

 3. We organize training and classes for our members that are aimed at helping them develop transferable skills that help build their skill-sets and improve their employability, and also boost their confidence and entrepreneurial drive to take on new challenges. This way, they can leverage on these qualities and go on to become agents of change in their respective spaces. 

 4. At EFICO we understand and respect the fact that every individual is unique and that we all have different paces at which we understand and assimilate information, that's why our various training and mentorship programs are tailored in a way that recognizes individual strengths and limitations. Carrying every single person along is an important aspect of our training we take seriously.

 5. We organize Non-Academic Career seminars (Virtual, and offline) periodically, to keep our members in the know as regards contemporary trends, giving them an all-round experience and approach to life.
