UV Curing Coatings

Water-based Coatings

  • Advantages: Dilutable with water, high safety.
  • Disadvantages: High requirements for substrates and environment, wastewater and waste treatment needed, high energy consumption for baking in some applications.

Conventional High Solid Content Coatings

  • Advantages: Lower cost, lower VOC.
  • Disadvantages: Slow drying, high application viscosity, generally suitable only for thick coatings, High hardness and brittleness.
  • Application Areas: Mainly used in heavy anti-corrosion fields.

Polyaspartic Polyurea Coatings

  • Advantages: Low VOC, fast drying, highly efficient, solvent-free thick or thin coating, cures at ultra-low temperatures, excellent tensile performance, outstanding overall performance.
  • Disadvantages: High material cost, higher product price.
  • Application Areas: Widely used in industrial anti-corrosion, adhesives, waterproofing, flooring, and increasingly favored in high-end markets.
