My latest research published in the Journal of Consumer Affairs investigates the drivers of financial worry, defined as repetitive thoughts about a future undesirable financial situation.?Financial worry matters because it is major challenge across the globe with individuals experiencing high levels of financial worry and financial stress. Moderate to high financial worry and financial stress is associated with lower financial, psychological, and overall wellbeing. This matters for individuals, organizations, and society. In my study, I identified income, financial stress and financial capability as the key drivers of financial worry. #financialworry #financialstress #financialwellbeing #mentalhealth
