What Does Your Version Of Consistency Look Like?...

What Does Your Version Of Consistency Look Like?...

Hey Folks!

I hope you’ve had a fabulous week so far!

Last week I had the intention to get this newsletter out earlier in the week but found my brain going blank each time I set out to create it.

I don’t know whether it’s been with coming out of-what-seems-like-the-longest-winter-ever or because I’ve been deep in the lab putting together a library membership and making notes for a course - but I feel like my brain is out of informing mode.

I’m the same with social media, I either have loads to say or nothing at all.

Do you get the same?

And are you able to honour those bursts of energy or creativity?

When it comes to life, I am much better at honouring the ebbs and flows.

Be it with energy or even with appetite.

Over the last few years I’ve stepped back from the scales, weighing food or rigid planning in favour of going along with my natural appetites.

Business, however, will take putting systems in place so I create when the rush comes and the systems can create consistency where I just don’t vibe with it.

We’ve been taught consistency is the only way and if you deviate from consistency you’re doomed to fail.

But the thing is, consistency looks different from person to person and you may even find that your own inconsistency has a more consistent pattern than first meets the eye.

There’s so much power in observing your own cycles, behaviours and cravings that can help you to feel more empowered in your choices and remove shame from where you may have come to believe that you’re falling short.

I’ve found this particularly true in my movement and nutrition habits and by observing rather than judging myself created a whole world of freedom compared with my bodybuilding days!

As it stands, I’ve decided to create a library membership so that I can easily share lessons and resources with you that you can access whenever you want, as well as a monthly call where we can vibe on a topic of the month.

I’m beavering away filling it up now and here are some of the sections in the course

book club vibes - where I share what I've been reading and think others will find valuable in their own journeys

meditation - my favourite short meditations to help with developing your own practice

sleep, rest and recovery - learning around improving sleep, learning to rest and honouring and understanding recovery

EFT Tapping - one of my very favourite ways of soothing my nervous system and rewiring my limiting beliefs

Exercise Library - where I will share exercises featured in workouts

Breathwork - my favourite breathwork exercises, the benefits and how to get started

Yoga - a few short yoga practices

Workouts - a few of my favourite workouts in written form or video

Journalling - how to get started in journalling, benefits and a selections of ways to engage in journal practice

Nutrition - lessons and articles on nutrition

Cold Water Immersion - an introduction to cold water immersion, the benefits and safety considerations,

Bonus Lessons - visiting lessons before they're developed into separate courses and offers

Resources - helpful links, resources and recommendations

Think of it as a buffet, where you can explore different ways of integrating different kinds of wellbeing practice into your own life and try them on for size. I'm asked about a lot of the different kinds of wellbeing practices I use and enjoy and have always wanted to create a place to share my favourite workouts, practices and what I've learned that will benefit others. This will be a great way to honour that and will be different from the course I am working on that has a specific theme and direction.

If you’re interested in being the first to know when the membership becomes available you can sign up for being notified here.

I'll be releasing it for pre sale in the next few weeks!

Exciting!

Have a great week!
