What Does Your Mind, Body & Spirit Need?

I recently started really listening to what my mind, body and spirit need each day. I have tagged that onto my meditation time in the morning. Once all the swirling particles in my mind have settled, I check-in and see what I need that day. The responses vary, and I am trying to do a better job of giving me what I need first before always tending to others.
You might be surprised that that action is even hard for a “retired” person. Shouldn’t that be easier now that I am retired? Not necessarily. What I have noticed about us Type A people is that we are still Type A after we retire…. Or at least my friends and I are. LOL!!!
This realization has shown me that at all stages of life, we must create boundaries and processes that take care of us. For instance... Some days I am bursting with ideas and do some work before I workout. Some days my workout is a walk in nature. Some days I need to Netflix & chill. Some days I just need a nap! LOL!!!
