What does your LOGO stand for?

Interestingly enough, I started getting quite positive remarks and expressed curiosity around my "eye-shaped" logo. In my case, the logo actually embeds my coaching philosophy and part of the journey to my clients. So here are some insights into the logo and how it was born.

* It was designed some 9 years ago by my "cu?ado", Roberto Cruz Acosta whom I find to be an exceptional artist and a designer.

* The colors were selected by Roberto but he knows my passion for my home country Finland and that shades of blue provide a solid link to that. Blue is "steel blue" that provides power, energy, and determination. The same characteristic that you need for your successful career management.

* The eye is actually inspired by the hundreds of "milvus milvus" red kite, a bird of prey that were flying in the sky on top of our family home in Switzerland. The eye is derived by Roberto from an eye image of a red kite.

* Why red kite? Just like in your career management, you should be soaring to the heights of an eagle, having a peaceful, broad view of your surroundings, skills, and opportunities. You pinpoint your targets, prepare yourself for the mission, and then go hunting with a razor-sharp execution.

* Why the eye? The eye represents the dedication and attention to detail that you need to have in your career management: The research, branding package, networking, applying, and interviewing. This is how the bird of prey survives, and the same superior skills make a candidate successful as well.

* The rolling movement? Your career management is a lifelong journey, it never stops. Furthermore, if you put the effort and work to it on a constant basis, you will never be out of exciting professional opportunities. But the forward movement is the key, you need to be "rolling" and up-to-date with the market. Continuous education, exposing yourself to new career moves, and staying curious will feed that positive cycle.

So that is what my logo stands for.
