I’m reading The Energy of Money by Dr. Maria Nemeth , and it has been a fascinating inner journey that has led me to create my Inner Star.
For the last several months I’ve been in therapy, experiencing deep personal healing and growth after having gone through a very painful loss. (Don’t believe everything you see on social media – smiles can hide lots of pain. If you doubt it, check out Taylor Swift’s “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart .” It’s my anthem.)
Since I’m examining all aspects of my personal history in order to heal and grow, it only made sense to look at my relationship with money too. I knew I had a ton of financial trauma peppered throughout my life and reached the point where a scarcity mindset no longer served me (as if it ever did.)
One of the exercises in the book invites us to get clear on our Standards of Integrity, those aspects of ourselves that express what we value the most.
It is the essence of who we really are.
As a Brand and Business Crystallizer , my job is all about breaking complex things down to their essential components, so it was an interesting experience to do it for MYSELF. (Colossal nerd that I am, I couldn’t help but make it visual as a five-pointed star.)

Since that time, I have been energizing my five-pointed star every single day in meditation. I check in with myself to see if I’m truly embodying each aspect of myself or if there are one or two areas that need some additional attention (I’m talkin’ to you, Power.) I know that this is my authentic essence. I have ample “proof” to back each of them up that spans across my lifetime. This is my personal “spiritprint” that I can rely upon to light my way and guide my choices.
After meditating upon my Inner Star and acknowledging who I REALLY am, I found that it is far easier to create meaningful content that resonates. It’s easier to reach out to prospects and clients. It’s easier to trust that everything is happening exactly as it should in the perfect time frame.
Defining, accepting, and embracing our true nature makes us better at what we do.
Knowing ourselves, growing beyond our trauma narratives and limiting belief systems, is good for business. When we grow personally, we grow professionally. We show up stronger, clearer, and more open, and others can’t help but respond positively.?
What does your Inner Star look like, and are you actively shining it for the world to see?
