What does work/life balance mean now?

So, summer holidays are nearly over, and it’s back to school for some and back to business as usual in the run up to Christmas for others.

There’s been a lot of adaptations in the last few years in how we work and learn, some of which will stick, others not.? There are growing calls in some quarters for a permanent return to the office, whilst more online learning has actually opened up the playing field.

So what does the future hold in relation to these societal foundations, and what does work life balance actually mean?
